The House of Climbers

Pahadi Bakra Adventure is an India-based international guiding and logistics outfit, built on experience and driven by exploration. Since 2018, we’ve been working across the Indian Himalaya and beyond—focusing on well-planned expeditions, efficient movement in the mountains, and delivering experiences that are grounded in skill rather than noise. From high-altitude climbs to remote valley journeys, every trip is approached with clarity, small teams, and a strong emphasis on doing things right.

Our team is made up of trained and experienced mountain professionals, supported by local guides in every region we operate. Many of our guides have spent years in the mountains, working across climbing, alpine, and expedition environments. We follow established international guiding practices, ensuring that every expedition is built on strong fundamentals—planning, safety, and decision-making in the field. At the same time, we remain closely connected to the regions we work in, partnering with local communities so that our operations stay both technically sound and locally rooted. Whether you’re preparing for a larger expedition or stepping into the mountains for the first time, our approach remains the same—keep it simple, keep it focused, and build something that lasts beyond the trip itself.

Team with Experience

Our team is built on experience you can rely on. We work with guides and mountain professionals who have spent years in the field—operating in varied terrain, managing real conditions, and making decisions where it matters. This isn’t occasional exposure; it’s consistent, long-term work in the mountains that shapes how we plan and lead every expedition.

We operate with a clear, disciplined approach—structured logistics, trained guides, and systems that prioritise safety without overcomplicating the experience. Alongside our core team, we work closely with trusted local staff in every region, combining technical expertise with on-ground knowledge. The result is a team you can depend on—steady, capable, and focused on getting it right.

Beyond Expeditions

Our work doesn’t end with guided trips—it extends into long-term projects that focus on exploring and building within India’s lesser-known landscapes. Through initiatives like the Chhattisgarh Climbing Initiative, we work in regions that have strong natural potential but limited structure around it. The aim is to develop locally driven systems—training native guides, opening climbing routes, enabling treks, and creating opportunities that remain rooted within the community. Alongside this, we engage with local youth, introducing them to climbing and outdoor skills, building a connection that can grow into long-term involvement.

We also work closely with district and state administrations to develop regions in a way that is practical and sustainable. This includes supporting on-ground execution, building low-impact infrastructure, and helping shape adventure spaces that function beyond short-term tourism. From working towards India’s first government-supported adventure destination to training tribal teams in alpine environments, the focus remains consistent—keep it real, keep it functional, and build something that can sustain itself over time.

Chhattisgarh Climbing Initiative

The Chhattisgarh Climbing Initiative began at home—built around terrain and communities that have long been overlooked. The focus is on developing a locally driven adventure ecosystem: training native guides, opening rock routes, leading treks, and creating sustainable opportunities rooted in the region itself. Alongside this, we work with local youth—introducing climbing, building skills, and fostering long-term engagement with the outdoors. The aim is simple: not to package it as a destination, but to build something that works, grows, and sustains from within.
